Early Act

Some 4th and 5th graders who sign up for the Doyon Student Leadership Team also join the Doyon Early Act Team.

The Doyon Early Act Team meets monthly and works on community service projects in partnership with the Ipswich Rotary Club. Each year students choose a local, a national, and an international project. Projects can be service projects such as volunteering at the Ipswich Dinnerbell or leading a collection for the Open Door Food Pantry or Cape Ann Animal Aid. Projects can also be fundraisers such as our annual Movie Night that donates proceeds to organizations like Cure CMT4J or World Central Kitchen. Student members of the team choose each year's service projects. Each spring the Doyon Early Act Team participates in an Ipswich Rotary Club meeting held at Doyon. The Doyon Early Act Team has been in existence for over 20 years and is proud to plant the seeds of community service following Rotary's motto: Service Above Self.
